Species Knowledge

In December 2021, several institutions adopted the Species Knowledge Training strategy to work on the loss of expertise. The heart of the strategy is the networking of the main players and the coordinated implementation of measures. The strategy was developed by the Haute École du Paysage, d'Ingénierie et d'Architecture de Genève (HEPIA), the Zürcher Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften (ZHAW), InfoSpecies, the Swiss Systematics Society and sanu future learning. It is supported by the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) and placed under the sponsorship of the Biology Platform of the Swiss Academy of Natural Sciences (SCNAT).
